Fairy Garden DIY part 1

The Kid just loves fairies. She has fairy statutes from the dollar tree that end up everywhere. When she was younger, she loved to dress up as a fairy with her dress, wings, and wigs.

We were out one day at a butterfly garden and greenhouse. Inside the greenhouse were many different examples of fairy gardens. The Kid fell in love and decided she wanted a fairy garden too. That is when I discovered how expensive fairy garden supplies can be. Ugh!

DIY to the rescue. Some popsicle sticks, coffee containers, hot glue gun, and paints were gathered up. I glued the popsicle sticks to the containers. I had grand plans to have doors and windows as well. I glued the front and tried to make doors on the front. So time consuming! After that, I started gluing the sticks on the other direction and things went much faster. The kid could paint windows on if she wanted them.

If we make these again, I am just going to glue the popsicle sticks on and paint any doors and windows. Headache and time saver.
